Crazy few days!!

So the NFL has opened its doors once again, and in the last few days, we have seen why we have missed it so much.  Free agents signing, trades, players been cut, its all been happening.  I hope you have stayed in touch with nflgbview on twitter, as I have tryed to keep you as up to date as possiable, but it certainly is not easy.  So lets get straight into some of the player movement thats happened in the last few days

Trades

RB Reggie Bush was traded for by the Dolphins.  Following both Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams becoming free agents, the Dolphins needed another RB, and preferably one with speed and big play ability.  Bush really does fit that mould.

The Cardinals finally landed their man (former Eagles QB Kevin Kolb) following a whole offseason of talk abouth the deal.  In the end, they sent CB Dominique Rodgers - Cromartie, and a draft pick in return.  This deal should be great for both sides.  The Cardinals were desparate for a QB, after spending last year in limbo after Kurt Warners retirement.  The Eagles have a very talented team, but one position they did have problems with was CB.  Rodgers Cromartie is a very capable CB, who will make an instant impact in Philly.

TE Greg Olsen (formily of the Bears) was traded to the Panthers for a 3rd round draft pick.  Olsen is a very talented TE, with great pass catching abilites.  He should be a big target for rookie QB Cam Newton, and will help him settle in.

The Washington Redskins sent DE Jeremy Jarmon to Denver, in exchange for WR Jabar Gaffney.  The Broncos main problem last year was their pass rush.  They will be hoping Jarmon will help on that front.  Gaffney will give the Redskins some much needed depth at WR.

The New England Patriots have been very busy, trading for both WR Chad Ochocinco, and DT Albert Haynesworth.  Both these players are extremely talented, but have had issues in the past.  There is no doubt though that both players will feel that they are in the best place possiable, for a real crack at getting as ring.  I think that Haynesworth will be fantastic now that he is back in a 3 - 4 front.

QB Donovan Mcnabb left the Redskins and signed for the Vikings.  The Vikings were unsure who was going to start for them this year, following the retirement of Brett Farve, but Mcnabb will surley now be the guy.  They did draft Christian Ponder this year, but they were unsure as to whether he should start straight away.
