What to do in the offseason??

So the season maybe over, but its never to early to start thinking about the 2010 season. If your team won the Superbowl, or if they finished bottom of their division, at this moment in time, with the draft and the free agency period to come, the playing field for next year is even. Lets face it, at this time last year, the Saints had finished bottom of the NFC South , and must have felt a million miles away from their first Superbowl. But 12 months later, in Miami, they held the trophy up high. This shows the turn around that can be acheived in this great sport, the building blocks for which, need to be laid right now. Throughout the next few months we will be breaking down each team, their past season, their strengths, weaknesses, and what they require to take the next step. We will also take a look at all of the draft prospects, break down what their strengths and weaknesses are, and which teams that they will best fit on, and improve. In between all of this we will also cover all the major issues that arise.

These are the major events that will happen before next season begins:

Deadline for franchise tags - Thurs 25th February

Scouting combine - Sat 27th February - Tue 2nd March

Pro Days - Thurs 4th March - Thurs 1st April

Free agency begins - Fri 5th March

Draft - Thurs 22nd April - Sat 24th April

Deadline for franchise players to sign - Thurs 22nd July

Hall of fame introductions - Sat 7th August

Hall of fame game - Sun 8th August

Roster cuts to 75 players - Tue 31st August

Roster cuts to 53 players - Sat 4th Sept

2010 Season Kickoff - Thurs 9th Sept

All these events will be covered in depth right here on http://nflgbview.blogspot.com/

So as you can see we have a lot to cover before the new season kicks off, who said that the NFL season only runs for 5 months??
